Jacksonville Beach is best known for its lively nightlife and beautiful beaches. It also is known for its hip and urban restaurants and cafes. Whether you visit Jax Beach as a day trip or a weekend long getaway, if you are looking for a fun place to visit, you need to check out these Top 3 Coffee Shops.
All of the cafes not only serve delicious coffee, but also serve unique, flavorful food and snacks. Ditch Starbucks in exchange for incredible local cafes throughout Jacksonville Beach. These locations are the best places to get a cup of coffee and soak up some good vibes after your long day at the beach, so if you need to get some caffeine head to any of the 3 cafes for a relaxing, satisfying cup of Joe.
1. Sago Coffee

A recent addition to the Jax Beach coffee scene, Sago Coffee is a top destination for coffee lovers. With an wide, open interior with an urban, minimalistic aesthetic, Sago Coffee provides a spacious and bright place for you to do some work on your laptop or to chat with friends. Oftentimes, many Christians from the Beaches Church across the street will convene here. Their bibles spread across their laps and simple chatter exemplifies the cafe's mission.
The cafe's vision is to bring the Jax Beach community together to connect, engage and thrive together, according to their website. They also state in their manifesto that they brew conversation and culture, and they even believe coffee is a lot like a community: the stronger it is, the more you feel it. A unique thing about Sago is that every business quarter, 25% of their profits are donated to a local cause. This cafe truly values the Jax Beach community and seeks to improve it.
Sago Coffee offers a variety of coffees and teas, along with pastries and snacks that will pair perfectly with your drink. Supplied by Jax Bread Company, any of the bread products are yummy. A customer favorite, besides the avocado toast, would be the ham and cheese croissant. The warm, salty croissant along with a sweet coffee is a dynamic duo.
One of the must try drinks is the Chai Latte. This chai is the best chai latte in the Jacksonville area. The drink combines the sweet notes of the chai tea with the smooth balance of milk (any milk alternative such as oat or almond milk tastes even better). Before you know it, you'll reach the bottom of your drink and craving for some more.
Sago Coffee is open everyday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is located at 318 7th Ave N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

2. Bold Bean Coffee Roasters

Every Jacksonville native knows and loves Bold Bean. There are three main cafes around the city; one in Riverside, San Marco, and of course Jacksonville Beach.
Bold Bean began in 2007 with a father and son duo who had a passion for coffee. The father, Jay Burnett, was roasting coffee in his garage as a hobby, and soon his son Zack would spend time with him as he roasted. After growing a customer following in the area, they decided it was time to have a physical location to provide their coffee. In 2011, the first location in Riverside opened, where they could directly serve coffee to customers and the community. A cool feature is that all of the coffee is sustainably sourced and roasted in Jacksonville.
Bold Bean in Jax Beach, situated about 3 blocks from the beach, teems with locals and coffee lovers. Normally, finding a spot to sit down is impossible in the late morning and early afternoon hours. However, if you're lucky enough to come across a seat, you'll want to stay and relax for awhile and enjoy the cafe.
The Robin egg blue painted walls reflects the sunlight from the windows, creating beautiful natural lighting throughout the interior. The cafe brings the beach vibes into the cafe with ocean themed art and creative design. If you want to imagine what it feels like to sit inside, pop over to their Instagram to experience it virtually through their photos.
Weekday hours are 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Weekend hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Bold Bean Jax Beach is located at 2400 3rd St S Jacksonville Beach FL 32250.

3. Delicomb

This cafe is a hot spot for young people. Whether you're a thrifting fashionista hipster, or you just finished yoga on the beach, anyone can enjoy the cool, vintage vibe inside Delicomb. Opened in 2009, Delicomb has been serving the Jax Beach community for over a decade.
Delicomb, known for the variety of food they serve, creates flavorful dishes that will blow you away. Have you ever wondered what peanut butter and red onion on an everything bagel would taste like? Well, even if you haven't, you'll want to taste the incredible concoction of the Thai Bagel. All the food at Delicomb is created with fresh, healthy ingredients, so there is no need to feel guilty scarfing down their homemade sandwiches. Delicomb also makes their own kimchi, a Korean fermented vegetable. You can choose to take home a jar of mild heat to a very hot spicy Kimchi, and use it at home. Bringing home the flavors of Delicomb will ensure every dish you make, even if its a simple salad, will taste immaculate.
If you are a true coffee fanatic, you will love their strong, dark coffees. You will not find overly sugary and creamy lattes here. Instead, experience the bold punch of a speed bomb, an iced coffee with an expresso on top of it. This double caffeinated hit will leave you energized all day long (and maybe into the night too!)
The only downside to Delicomb is it is closed every Monday, and Tuesday through Sunday they are open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Delicomb is located at 102 6th Ave N Jax Beach, FL 32250.
